GameDropDaily is a curated catalogue of free, open-source HTML5 browser games. Every game on this site has its source code on GitHub, js13kgames.com, or a similar public repository — and every game's page links back to that source.

Why "Daily"

The home page features a different game each day, picked deterministically from the highest-rated entries in the catalogue. The same pick goes out to everyone visiting on the same UTC day, and rotates fresh tomorrow. It's a small ritual — a quick visit, a different five-minute game.

Curation criteria

A game is added when it meets all of:

• Runs in a modern browser without plugins, downloads, or accounts.
• Source code is publicly visible under an open-source or "do whatever" licence.
• Loads inside a sandboxed <iframe> without third-party tracker calls.
• Author is credited on the game's page with a link back to the original repository.

Where the games come from

The current catalogue is sourced from js13kgames.com (the annual 13-kilobyte JavaScript competition — incredible engineering crammed into tiny files) and from GitHub repositories tagged html5-game or browser-game. We re-host the static files for performance and stability, and credit the original author on every page. Nothing is forked or modified. Suggestions for additional sources (itch.io open-source releases, similar registries) are welcome via the feedback form.

If you're a game author

Two things you might want to do:

• Suggest your own game for inclusion — open any game page and use the feedback form (type: Suggestion).
• Request removal if you'd rather your project not be listed here — same form, type: Takedown request. We respond within seven business days.

No tracking, no accounts

There are no user accounts, no logins, no advertising trackers, and no first-party cookies. Games may use your browser's localStorage for high scores or settings — that data stays in your browser and is never sent anywhere. Read the full Privacy Policy.
